Students

6th - 12th Grade
Wednesdays 6:30PM
We are passionate about helping each student know what it means and looks like to love God and love people.

SQUAD is the student ministry for CrossPointe Church designed for 6th–12th grade students. We hang out on Wednesday nights at 6:30-8:00 pm. We hope to see you on Wednesday!

Welcome to SQUAD

Wednesdays Are
For Your SQUAD

Being a teenager can be complicated. What we have learned is that healthy relationships make a difference, so we invest all we can to build great ones!  It begins with a team of volunteers who care about your student(s).

When the countdown hits 0:00, we are ready to kick the night off! This is sometimes a game, worship or the night’s devotion to set up the conversation on what the Bible says and what that looks like in a student’s daily life.

From there, students go into their small groups based on gender and grade level to keep the conversation going with their small group leader. This is where we take time to understand how Jesus sees us and loves us and discuss our response to that love.

SQUAD Events

Breakfast SQUAD is Tuesdays 7:30-8:00 am at the McDonald’s in front of Jack Britt High School (when there is school).

Student Safety

We take the safety and security of our students very seriously.

Our SQUAD youth team members have been vetted, passed a background check, and trained to serve our students well. We also have a security team in place during our SQUAD experience.

We are honored for the opportunity to serve your family in SQUAD.

What To Expect

We meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 – 8:00 pm (doors open to the building at 6:20). Each student is asked to check-in as they enter the building and then enjoy some time hanging out with their friends and enjoying pizza or snacks from the Coffee Shop before our message and discussion time begins. Students will hear a 15-minute devotion that speaks to who Jesus is and know how to apply it in their lives immediately. From there, students will either hang out while engaging in group activities or spend time speaking about the night’s discussion in their small group. Each small group is determined by grade level and gender to help create the most effective conversation.
