Follow Jesus

Our sin keeps us separated from God and easily overwhelms our lives. Sounds daunting, huh? But there is hope. His name is Jesus. Discovering His purpose helps understand your purpose. It all begins with discovering who Jesus is. We’d love to tell you about Him and how much He loves you!

Following Jesus beings when you:

  • Pray to ask God to forgive you of your sin
  • Believe Jesus is the Son of God who was crucified and resurrected to forgive you of your sins
  • Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.
  • Now honor Jesus by loving God and loving people and help others do the same.

What Is The Gospel?

God Created Us

God has a purpose and a plan for your life.

The Bible says, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27)

Sin Separates Us

Our sin separates us from God.

We all have sinned. The Bible says, “… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23)

Sin has consequences for us

Our sin has an eternal consequence.

The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

Jesus Loves Us

But God loves us so much that He took on the consequences so we would not have to.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

How Will You Respond To Him?

Knowing what Jesus has done for you how will you respond to Him?

You can make Jesus your Lord and Savior by recognizing your sin, repenting of your sin, asking Him to forgive you of your sins, and making Him your Lord and Savior.

The Bible says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)

What's Next

Go public with your faith in Jesus through water baptism.

Live your life loving God and loving people. Jesus tells us, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
