Our Mission Is To Help Everyone Discover, Develop, and Do Life With Jesus.

We create irresistible environments...

to see those who are done with church, unchurched, or hurt by church develop an irresistible relationship with Jesus.

At CrossPointe Church, we use a 3D ministry strategy to accomplish the mission we know God has for us. Discover God through our Sunday Services; Develop a deep relationship with God through our LifePointe, Children’s, and Student Ministries; and Do what God has called you to do by connecting and serving in our internal and outreach ministries.

Discover
In every service at CrossPointe, our goal is for you to Discover God, and to connect with Him. Our Sunday services are designed for you to experience God in a life-changing way through our music, messages, and the people who call CrossPointe Church their home.

Being a Christ follower is a life long pursuit, and one that is never done alone. At CrossPointe Church we believe in growing closer to God and maturing as a Christ follower together. We do this through our small groups ministry LifePointe, our children’s ministry KidsPointe, and our student ministry SQUAD.
We believe that everyone has a call to serve. Whether you like talking to people, working with kids, or helping to feed the homeless, everyone has a place to serve. Serving is ministry, and ministry changes lives.

Our
Values

Jesus is Lord
We operate with Jesus as our Lord. Therefore we strive to honor and obey Jesus in all that we do and in how we serve.

You can belong before you believe. We value people! You don’t have to believe what we believe before knowing you are loved.

Serving is a privilege! We are participators, not spectators. We are honored and grateful to Jesus for the opportunity to serve everyone who calls CrossPointe home.
We all have a past, but we don’t live there anymore. We value our future over our past and always strive to make what’s next better than what’s happened.
We value the impact our generosity has on God’s kingdom and our community. For that reason, we are excited about giving!

Our History

CrossPointe Church is a
non-denominational church founded on March 24, 2004, by Pastor Tracy Pounders and his family.

We believe all people, regardless of race, color or social status have the right to worship together in a friendly, welcoming environment without experiencing prejudice or bias. Our church was established on this belief and continues to celebrate the diversity of people from all walks of life.

CrossPointe is strategically and uniquely different from most other churches. While there are many wonderful traditional churches in this region, we believe God has called us to do something different without compromising what it means to be a Christian church in today’s world. We do believe our community needs a church that is genuine and authentic for people who have been disappointed or hurt in the past; a place where people who have never been to a church before can come and hear a simple and easy to understand message that makes sense and relates to their daily life. We believe church should be fun, exciting, and friendly, not boring and predictable. We are not a traditional church…and we don’t want to be! If you don’t have a church home we would love for you to check us out Sunday!

Our
Beliefs

About God
One eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the world.

Jesus is the Son of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only One who can reconcile us and connect our lives to God. Jesus lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to conquer death on our behalf so that we could experience eternal life.

The Bible is God’s Word. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.
Sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
God instituted marriage in the beginning and established it to be between a man and a woman.
Salvation is God’s gift to us, but we must accept it. In order to receive forgiveness for our sins and receive the “new birth” we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. Jesus is coming back again, just as He promised, to rescue those who have placed their faith in Him in this life. Our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ to follow Him.
In order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts that empower us to do amazing things for God. He guides believers in truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sins, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.
